Our Story
About 14 years ago, Nassim decided to leave his hometown in France to move to Montreal and pursue his studies in Cinematographic Arts at UdeM (Université de Montréal). His 22 years old self was so excited to explore and learn more about this Canadian city that he had heard so much about.
This excitement lasted until he realized how difficult it was to find a place to stay from abroad, even more so to reserve it at a distance. Here he was, on the other side of the world, trying to find a place to stay in a city he had never been to, with nobody to help him. He spent his first 6 months in hostels and couch surfing. He knew he wasn’t the only one who was going through a similar journey and that’s when his motivation to found Hivenue and help others settle in a new city came about!

Our mission is to help you safely settle in a new city.
How we live has changed. Opportunities can be found everywhere. This is why Hivenue exists.
We believe that living anywhere with people from everywhere is the richest experience we can gain as a human.
